As we all know, Santa is the portrayed image of Christmas, deceiving children and families across the planet. All the while masquerading the true meaning of Christmas and blurring the fact that Jesus is indeed the reason for the season. What you may or may not know is that Jesus and Santa have many things in common (listed below). With that being said, was Santa created this way because the world wants us to believe that Santa is God? That Santa is the bringer of hope and joy and not Jesus who offers salvation and life more abundant? Did you know if you rearrange the letters in Santa they spell Satan? Be very mindful of what you accept as truth and teach to your children. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. He is the way, the truth and the life. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved. Jesus Christ is Lord.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God, the Lord is not is not a liar so what he’s says is true and that’s the way it is! I know some people say “walk by faith and not by sight” is cliché, but it’s the truth! Through these past couple months I’ve been dealing with my throat and my vocal chords and relying on medicine and remedies and everything else, instead of truly relying on the Lord. Of course I was in prayer and waiting on the Lord but I was more so depending on remedies than Him. I’ve been kicking myself for doing so, because of not relying on Him and relying on “myself” I literally squandered two months.
This heavily delayed the recording for my new album “High Calling”. The Lord has his season and timing for everything, so I know this happened for a reason. After all… scripture says all things work out for the good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose, even though sometimes we can’t see it, He can! Everything has a breaking point. There ended up coming a time to where I just said I’m done, I’m tired of dealing with this and trying to help myself, Father I give it to you! Next time I go to record I have faith and I know your going to be there to take care of me, because I know this music can reach people for your glory! Sure enough… been recording ever since that day and the Lord has taken care of me!
It’s very easy to lose faith and rely on our own strength, but DON’T do it! We have to continually mortify the deeds of the flesh and give it all to God! In closing, I just want to encourage everyone to continue to move and live by faith! Let go and let God!
But always remember… Faith without works is dead!
King James Version (KJV)
14What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
It’s so sad to see in this day and age the perversion that’s become acceptable. The media literally shoves sin down our throat by every platform available, possibly leading to marriage issues, financial trouble and more. Society accomplishes this by the use of billboards, magazines, TV, internet and more. Anything morally based and wholesome anymore is almost nonexistent. It’s been said for years now that we are in the last days and by the looks of things that could not be any truer. The recent devastations around the globe are sure signs of it. With the enemy lurking around every corner it can be very easy to succumb to sin and lose sight of why we are here. Sometimes life can even seem hopeless. BUT, there is hope and that hope is Jesus!
I want to encourage everyone to stand strong against sin and never lose sight of the mission! We are here to advance His Kingdom by making disciples of all nations and preaching the Gospel unto the ends of the earth! Never give up, never lose sight and let’s live each day as if it was our last! Let’s make the biggest impact we possibly can for Christ with the rest of our time on this earth and let’s rid this world of sin and see souls come to Him! NEVER GIVE UP!
